Thank you for helping to make Run for Rights a smashing success! The 10th Annual Run for Rights was the biggest and best year yet. We had 17 participating organizations, over 100 volunteers and a record 423 registered runners. The run and benefit concert raised over $30,000. We couldn’t have done it without the support of our sponsors, volunteers, runners and donors.
It is not to late to make a donation! Contact us at run4rights@gmail.com to make a contribution.

Run for Rights is a coalition of diverse organizations working together to organize this event. Each organization is fully independent in undertaking their human rights and social justice work. The strategies and policy positions adopted by participating organizations are not necessarily shared by other coalition members.
You can choose to complete a 5 km or 10 km route. The scenic route stretches along Scotia Street from Kildonan Park to St. John’s Park in Winnipeg.
On the day of the run, we encourage you to walk, ride your bike, or bus it to Kildonan Park for registration. If you are driving, please try to car pool with friends who are also in the run. Parking can be found on the streets south of Kildonan Park, and in the public parking lot beside the Pavilion inside the park (the Rainbow Stage parking lot will not be available for parking). If you are going to park in the Pavilion lot, please make sure you get there well before 9 AM, as there is a children’s bike race on the main park road the same morning as Run for Rights, and cars moving about will be unsafe!
